Los Angeles-based virtual reality studio and distributor Wevr has created theBlu, a virtual reality (VR) series showcasing the wonder of the Earth’s oceans.

The three episodes transport viewers into the depths of the ocean, coming face-to-face with a giant blue whale in “theBlu: Encounter”; witnessing undersea migration firsthand on the edge of a coral reef in “theBlu: Reef Migration”; and venturing into the deepest, darkest regions of the ocean in “theBlu: Luminous Abyss.”

On World Water Day, March 22, theBlu will be featured at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles, and the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo at the Dubai Mall will feature a “VRZOO.”
