Cargotec has joined the Trade & Transport Impact program, which connects startups with corporations for the purpose of addressing big challenges in maritime cargo transport and logistics. This is the first program of its kind in terms of its scale and global scope within maritime and logistics. The program is initiated by the London-based startup partnership organization, Rainmaking Ltd. The program is scheduled to last three years, with its main venue housed in Hamburg, Germany.

Cargotec is one of the key partners driving the Trade & Transport Impact program, as a company with touch-points throughout the cargo movement chain through its marine logistics businesses, Kalmar and MacGregor. As a result, Cargotec offers insights, market access and relevant data flow that will benefit the startups that join the program. —Cargotec
